Running-in over. After the resounding 95-75 win over Caserta, coach Luca Vitali said: "Our championship starts now. Before then, it's like a preseason because it's a completely new group that needed to get to know each other and become a team."

Considering the +20 lead they achieved, thanks in part to the opponents' unstoppable technical and physical prowess, it must be said that Dinamo finally seemed like a team capable of capitalizing on the undoubted talent of their players. What changed? First of all, a more effective defense in one-on-one situations, and a much more inside-out play in attack, thanks to the use of Nobili as a pivot, rather than a winger, who was too often far from the paint. And then Monaldi, a leader. Even at point guard, it was his best performance since the start of the season.

Given that Grande is still the top scorer (17 points on average, ninth overall), that Riisma makes an important contribution in all areas and that when Brooks scores in double figures the attack is more prolific, now we need to recover the best versions of the forward Aromando, who has struggled in the last two games, and of the winger Michele Vitali, who seems to have unlocked his shooting skills.

The schedule now features an away trip to Cividale, a manageable opponent. Banco di Sardegna is expected to confirm their form, especially since they'll then have a trio of matches against top-ranked teams: Pesaro, Avellino, and Livorno. And those three matches will determine whether Sassari can play a leading role in the league.
