Three music-filled events, opened by an open mic evening: this week the Cousinà Late Show in Cagliari will light up from Thursday to Saturday , with the fourth edition of the " Open Stage Show " on the 19th , the concert by The Hangees on Friday the 20th and finally that of the Backdoor Lads , on the evening of the 21st . The two live shows are once again the result of the collaboration between Bohemien Eventi and the venue in Corso Vittorio Emanuele 178 .

Open Stage

The Cousinà open mic format will return for a new episode hosted by entertainer Alessio Carta Salis . Starting at 8:00 PM, any volunteer can take the stage for a five-minute performance , opening the door to musicians, singers, rappers, comedians, dancers, poets, and anyone else who wants to share their art, especially non-professionals.

The order of performances will be drawn randomly, with an additional five-minute set-up break between the artists. The venue will provide musical instruments, a video projector, and a sound system . Anyone can register for the evening's lineup by contacting Cousinà by email by 7:00 PM on Thursday .

The Hangees

At 10pm on Friday, space will be given to the Cagliari group The Hangees , formed as a quintet in 2003 and today made up of four members, known only as Piergiorgio (vocals and lead guitar), Andrea (rhythm guitar), Marcello (vocals and bass) and Alessandra (vocals and drums).

United by their devotion to 1960s garage rock and contemporary, almost esoteric instrumental surf rock, the four have exported their rough and rowdy style to Europe, appearing at alternative festivals such as Wild Weekend and Hastings Beatwave , as well as recording it several times in the studio, boasting four albums , two vinyls and numerous international compilations to their name.

Backdoor Lads

This week's musical finale features Backdoor Lads , also at 10 PM on Saturdays. Originally formed under the name The Hunters, the band was formed in February 2024 by Emanuel Forresu (guitars), Stefano Brenau (bass), and Gianluigi Atzei (drums), former founders of Hourly Daily Weekly, with the addition of Alessandro Puggioni of Bottlecrusher on vocals.

The four offer a diverse mix of influences, under the aegis of a hard rock tinged with blues and funk, without skimping on heavy metal and prog rock touches. The band is currently working on their first studio album , which has already seen the release of the single " Red Pill or Blue Pill ," with the possibility of a preview on Saturday evening.
