From May 8th to 11th: SO CHIC! - the only 100% Rosé winery in Sardinia - brings pink excellence to the stage at the Porto Cervo Wine & Food Festival.

There is a love that tastes of salty wind, of sun-kissed hills and of pale pink in a chilled glass. It is the love of Isabelle and Jean-Paul Tréguer for Sardinia. And the fruit of that love at first sight is now called SO CHIC! – the only winery on the island specialized in the production of Rosé wine, ready to conquer the palates of the Porto Cervo Wine & Food Festival 2025. It is not just any story. It is the story of two French advertising executives who, after selling their Parisian agency – BIG Success, leader in television advertising across the Alps – decided to rewrite their lives in the south of Sardinia, between Villasimius and Castiadas, in a corner of the world that they themselves define as a “paradise”.

Once they landed on the island, Isabelle and Jean-Paul discovered a gap in the local wine scene: Rosé, the king of French summers, was still an outsider here. But where many see an absence, they saw an opportunity. Thus was born a bold dream: to create the first Sardinian winery entirely dedicated to Rosé, with a brand with an international, light and memorable name. SO CHIC!, indeed.

But why Rosé? The reasons are as solid as the land of Capo Ferrato, where the Cannonau that signs the identity of SO CHIC! is born. In France, Rosé represents over 35% of wine consumption. Globally it has exceeded 15%. And while Italy exports successfully, domestic consumption is still limited. A new era is upon us – and Sardinia has all the cards to lead it.
Here Cannonau – ancient, generous, direct heir of the Provençal Grenache – meets French savoir-faire in a perfect synergy. The result is a 100% Cannonau Rosé, fresh, elegant, surprising, ideal for an aperitif, for a dinner by the sea or a toast under the stars. And then there is another secret: the hearts of women. Because they are the ones driving the Rosé wine market today: a versatile wine that knows how to be chic without being snobbish, that brings with it the color of love and freedom.

In just five years, Rosé SO CHIC! has become a small phenomenon. More than 200 points of sale in Sardinia, including five-star resorts, gourmet restaurants, exclusive beach clubs and wine boutiques. And then Rome, Milan, Switzerland, the USA, France: a rosé that has overcome the sea, bringing with it the essence of an island that knows how to be authentic and contemporary. From 8 to 11 May, Isabelle and Jean-Paul will bring their vision to the Porto Cervo Wine & Food Festival 2025, one of the most prestigious events in the Horeca sector. A showcase of excellence where SO CHIC! will be much more than a label: it will be a declaration of intent.
"We are French, yes. But today we feel more Sardinian than ever. We wanted to demonstrate, together with the island's winemakers, that Sardinia can also produce a Rosé capable of competing with the best in Provence," the founders proudly say.
And while the glasses clink in the hands of experts and dreamers, one thing is certain: the future of Rosé wine in Sardinia already has a name. And it is terribly SO CHIC!
