An idea of what the Cagliari of tomorrow would like to be: sustainable, green, accessible to everyone. A livable and connected city in all its spaces and corners. Proposing it to the people of Cagliari this morning at Exmà is Massimo Zedda, candidate for the office of mayor with the "Let's go beyond" project. The draft of the municipal urban plan presents several new features, including numerous navigable and cycle-pedestrian paths from Monserrato to the center with the possibility of reaching, always in a sustainable way, up to the airport.

«We have identified a series of connections between important spaces in our city», said Zedda during the presentation. «The idea is to have a "living" city museum around Tuvixeddu also considering its proximity to Santa Igia. An area which is not so far from Piazza Yenne."

Green lungs and green spaces: at the center of the program is the union of neighborhoods to always be crossed on foot or by bike. «Let's think of a possible connection between Monte Claro and Colle di San Michele, places which are also not far from Tuvixeddu, without forgetting Buoncammino and the Botanical Garden: sometimes it is enough just to demolish a few walls to create a path-connection with the rest of the city".

A look also at the Amphitheatre : «The superintendency is waiting for the Municipality to send a project», said Zedda who recalls that his let's go beyond means going «beyond the stagnation of these five years: Solinas and Truzzu are missing from this electoral campaign . As if in recent years there had been a suspension of politics, regional and Cagliari, and nothing had happened."
