A photographic exhibition, a series of conferences in schools and fundraising for the creation of a statue.

The commitment of the Aps Tore Burruni Association does not stop , which aims to keep alive the memory and teachings of the great Alghero boxer champion who died in 2004, a great sportsman who for years kept Alghero's prestige high and of Sardinia . One of the projects concerns the creation of a statue for which a fundraiser has already been promoted. But not only.

In April, the association chaired by Carlo Branca with the son of the champion, Gianfranco Burruni, organized a series of conferences in the city's high schools, enriched with photos and videos that retrace the sporting career of the illustrious fellow citizen from Alghero.

On Saturday, however, a photographic exhibition will be inaugurated in the Torre Sulis which can be visited throughout the weekend (Saturday from 10 to 13 and from 17 to 21 - Sunday only in the afternoon). There will be the opportunity to listen to "The tale of Tore Burruni, the little boxer from Alghero, who made Italy great". During the opening hours of the exhibition, a banquet dedicated to the fundraising initiative "A statue per Tore" will be set up, where anyone who wishes can contribute with a donation.
