A fund for newborns, structured as a pension fund, will be included in the budget. Starting in 2027, the state will pay 100 euros per year for each newborn until they reach their eighteenth birthday. This was revealed by government sources.

The measure stems from a proposal by Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti, who was very pleased with the measure's acceptance by all his allies.
