His name is Willis Gibson, he is 13 years old and from Sillwater, Oklahoma. He is the first human being in the world to "beat" Tetris, a feat so far only managed by the original intelligence.

The boy is the first person to advance to the freezing point of one of the most popular video games in the world.

A record, his, also certified by Vince Clemente, president of the Classic Tetris World Championship: «It has never been done by a human being until now», he said. The boy, who only started playing two years ago after seeing Tetris on YouTube, dedicated the feat to his father Adam who died a month ago.

Invented by software engineer Alexey Pajitnov and released in 1989 on Nintendo, Tetris challenges players to move the "tetraminoes" with the aim of not letting them accumulate and closing the spaces to move to the next level. Theoretically the game can go on forever if a player is good enough.

For years it was thought that the limit was at level 29, when the blocks begin to fall so fast that it seems impossible for a human being to keep up with them. Over the last decade, however, a new generation of even more skilled players has come to the fore.

Willis, known online by the name of Blue Scuti, reached level 157 in 38 minutes, reaching the "kill screen", i.e. the point at which a video game can no longer be played due to the limitations of the codes, with a score of 999999. In the video the game crashed, the code wasn't designed to go that far.
