There are 16 Azzurri selected by Gianmarco Pozzecco for the last two qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup, a tournament scheduled from 25 August to 10 September next in which Italy has already qualified.

The two matches

The Azzurri will play against Ukraine at the Modigliani Forum in Livorno on Thursday 23 February at 9 pm and will be guests of Spain in Caceres on Sunday 26 February at 6 pm. Also on 20 February, at 3.30 pm, there will be the presentation of the new shirt blue, at the Macron Headquarters in Valsamoggia (Bologna). Among others, the Fip president, Giovanni Petrucci, the coach Gianmarco Pozzecco, and the Azzurri will take part.
