Many appointments in Sassari on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the CNR , the National Research Council, the largest Italian research body, born in 1923.
The appointment is for May 27 , and is organized by the local Institute of Biomolecular Chemistry (ICB), in collaboration with the Institutes belonging to the Sassari Territorial Research Area.
THE PROGRAM – At 9.30 in the headquarters of the CNR Laboratories (crossroads La Crucca, 3), the "Be a Young Researcher" conference will be held, reserved for secondary school students and presentations of their PCTO activities (Paths for Transversal Competences and 'Orientation) carried out at the CNR.
At 11.30 "Doors open to the CNR" (cross La Crucca, 3). During guided tours of the laboratories, open to the public by reservation, the researchers will talk about their scientific activity in the fields of chemistry, genetics, bioeconomy, agri-food and terrestrial ecosystems. Guided tours are intended for citizens and families who wish to get to know the research activities of the CNR of Sassari up close . It is necessary to book by calling 079/278275.
At 20.30 at the Municipal Theater of Sassari , with free admission upon reservation, Professor Mario Tozzi will entertain the public with the conference "Sapiens or Insipiens?" .
The event is organized with the contribution of the Sardinia Foundation, the Gabriele Bacchiddu Foundation and with the patronage of the Municipality of Sassari.
