The former race director has resigned from the position he held for almost two years (elected on 14 February 2021, beating outgoing president Marcello Nicchi with 60.31% of the votes) on the eve of the Federal Council where the issue will be analyzed linked to the D'Onofrio 案中，AIA 前首席检察官一个月前因国际贩毒罪被捕（联邦检察官周五听取了 Trentalange 本人的陈述）。
