Simone Dore, originally from Sassari, is climbing the entrepreneurial rankings for the prestigious US magazine
Among the best emerging managers in the world and undisputed king of cybersecurity. This is how the American magazine "Forbes" describes Simone Dore from Sassari dedicating a page to him.
The 30-year-old, who lives in Milan, is climbing the business rankings with "Nexim", his telecommunications company: in 2021 alone he recorded a growth of 750 percent.
Dore controls a network that manages 8,600 kilometers of optical fiber in Italy, 27 exchanges with its own equipment and 4 data centers. The offices are in various cities such as Milan, Sassari, Rome, Naples, Tortona, Verona, but also Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, London, New York, Dubai, Riyadh and Jeddah.
“Nexim” was also chosen to protect the G20 in Naples and therefore the G7.
After the authorization of the RIPE (regional Internet register for Europe, the Middle East and parts of Central Asia), "Nexim Italia" was able to open the first Internet Exchange in Sardinia, in Sassari, with the name of SARDIX "Sardegna Internet Exchange ", a place where operators can exchange traffic for free.
But the Sassari does not stop and is working on a new goal: to attract companies of excellence to establish a real technological hub in his hometown.
