A special mass, dedicated to the members of the Sardinian “Su Nuraghe” club in Biella who died during the Covid emergency, will be celebrated on Saturday 6 November at 6.15 pm in Oropa by the bishop of Biella, Monsignor Roberto Farinella.

The liturgy, preceded by the “Gosos di NS di Oropa”, “Lodi” sung by the “Voices of Su nuraghe”, will be accompanied in Sardinian by the singers of “Su Cuncordu de Planu de Murtas”, from Pozzomaggiore (Sassari).

"The pilgrimage of intercession for the living and the dead in the head of 'Su Nuraghe' will take place in continuity of faith and culture - explains Simmaco Cabiddu from the circle - in the footsteps of the forerunner Sant'Eusebio da Cagliari, first bishop of Vercelli, patron saint of Piedmont, introducer in the 4th century of the Marian cult in Oropa ”.

"In the impossibility of accompanying our loved ones on the last trip due to government quotas and prohibitions - adds the president of" Su Nuraghe ", Battista Saiu - we go to the heavenly Mother placing at her feet the portraits of those who left us so that the 'mantle of mercy' - made up of those 15,000 small pieces of cloth that all Biella people, old and new, represent - can protect us during this time of suffering ”.
