Fifty days until the inaugural journey of the Trenino Verde on the Arbatax-Lanusei route. The calendar of the Arst tourist service was illustrated today in the Municipality of Lanusei where the Board of the Historic Green Train Foundation of Sardinia met.

Departure June 14, two trips scheduled per week (Friday and Sunday) until October. The offer also includes the charter option, possibly for the other days. "The calendar - declared Carlo Poledrini, central director of Arst - is the one that had already been communicated following the requests received from the operators through the mayors of the area". A revisitation of the same is not excluded, even if not substantial: «We are verifying - added the manager - the technical possibility of making some changes to the timetables already planned, in order to take into account some needs presented in the meeting of the Trenino Verde Foundation».

Like last year, the train will only reach Lanusei. Gairo and (above all) Seui remain destinations still far from being restored. «We are confident - it was Poledrini's hope - that by May we will have positive results from the tender for the resumption of extraordinary maintenance works on the metal girders of Niala». During the meeting, the mayor of Tortolì, Marcello Ladu, was elected secretary of the Foundation, of which he was already a member of the council.
