Pula, car on fire on 195: driver burned

A car caught fire near Forte Village , at km 38.400, on State Road 195.

According to initial reconstructions, the man on board the small car, a Citroen C3 , lost control due to a steering malfunction and ended up in the ditch, where it caught fire.

The man, from Vercelli, suffered some minor burns, but was urgently transported to the Brotzu Hospital in Cagliari. The Carabinieri, the Forestry Guard, the Barracelli, and the Local Police of Pula were on site, as well as the Fire Brigade of Cagliari who took steps to put out the fire.
