Once the fair has been set up with over one hundred stalls, Sa Festa manna de Mesu Maju opens today in Olbia and will be inaugurated this evening at 9.30pm with the display of fireworks cascading over the Gulf and will end on 15 May with the solemn procession dedicated to San Simplicio.

The celebrations in honor of the patron saint of Olbia and Gallura begin at 5pm with the gathering of ex-voto flags which will parade accompanied by the city band to the headquarters of the San Simplicio celebrations committee: after the blessing of the medals and the honors to the flag of patron saint, the procession (on foot and by bus) continues to the basilica, where mass will be celebrated at 7 pm .

The secular events come alive tomorrow, starting from 6pm, with the traditional Mussel Festival watered by rivers of Vermentino in the Fausto Noce park which, at 10pm, will host Raf's concert.
