Olbia, Bishop Fornaciari "blesses" the celebrations in honor of San Simplicio

"It seems to me that these are difficult times and there is a need to talk about hope: I ask this area to all work together so that we can obtain the best conditions to overcome the difficulties."

Thus the bishop of the diocese of Tempio Ampurias, Roberto Fornaciari, welcomed in Olbia, in Piazza Santa Croce, by the San Simplicio celebration committee and by the notes of the city musical band, on the day of the martyrdom of the patron saint of Olbia and the whole of Gallura.

Fornaciari, at the helm of the diocese since last July and at his first celebration of the liturgical function in honor of San Simplicio, was accompanied to the churchyard of the Basilica of San Simplicio where he was welcomed by long applause and in which he celebrated the solemn pontifical mass together to all diocesan parish priests.
