Dense fog over Cagliari airport, two flights diverted to Olbia

Morning of inconvenience for passengers arriving in Elmas , with two flights diverted to Olbia airport.

The cause was the thick fog that rose over the airport at the crack of dawn.

The first to be routed to the Costa Smeralda was the Ryanair flight coming from Bergamo and scheduled to arrive at 7.20am in Cagliari. Same fate for the Ryanair flight coming from Bologna and scheduled to arrive at 7.15am.

Subsequent arrivals from Palermo and Zurich are regular (Ryanair and Edelweiss flights).
