The causes of what happened must be ascertained but the cause of the fire that this morning, on the road between Lotzorai and Talana , developed on an Arst bus could be an electrical problem with a consequent short circuit .

To explain it is Carlo Poledrini, regional director of Arst: « The driver had no reports of spies nor were there any leaks of fuel or other liquids along the road. The accident fortunately went well for both the driver and the 5 passengers on board. It is a 15-year-old coach and now we have to carefully check its overall condition».

However, the problems do not only concern the old vehicles, because the new ones delivered last week in the Nuoro area were targeted by vandals: 4 of those who suffered damage to the seats, ripped open with knives. «It is not a good sign – adds Poledrini -, they are unjustifiable gestures that pose a major issue of civic education towards these young people. A gesture that we naturally deplore, but we also know that those responsible will be identified as has happened in the past: our vehicles are equipped with cameras that will lead us back to those responsible".
