The risk level for forest fires in Sardinia continues to rise.

According to what emerges from data from the European Information System Effis, which operates within the emergency management service of the EU Copernicus programme, almost the entire island is now characterized by "high" and even "very high" levels of danger , but in a limited area of the central-eastern part of the island the risk level was even taken to "extreme".

In addition to Sardinia, the other Italian regions currently in the red zone are Puglia, Molise and Basilicata.
