Bari Sardo: car overturns, helicopter intervenes. A woman transported to Sassari

Perhaps a distraction was the cause of the accident that occurred this afternoon on the Nuova Orientale dir, in the Bari Sardo area. The fact is that a woman lost control of her car, traveling south, which after hitting the concrete curb on the side of the road overturned several times.

The woman was injured and was rescued by 118 personnel. But the critical nature of the incident suggested to the operations center to send Echo Lima 2, the Areus helicopter that took off from the Alghero base, to the scene.

The lady, who suffered a head injury and other bruises, was transported to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari where she was hospitalized. The Tortolì firefighters and the police intervened on site to investigate the case.
