The tragedy

Modena: Eight people were struck by a car plowing into a crowd, four seriously injured. Mattarella and Meloni visited the injured.

Salim El Koudri, a 31-year-old of foreign origins but born in Bergamo, is accused of massacre and assault. The Prime Minister: "He must answer fully." Salvini: "A second-generation criminal, now a crackdown on residence permits."
