Meanwhile, Kiev leader Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that new military aid from the United States is on the way.

The speed in finding political solutions to protect lives from Russian terrorism,” Zelensky said. Adding: “Every leader who wastes no time is a lifesaver. Every state that can act quickly safeguards the rules-based world order. I thank all those - continued Zelensky - who help our people in the world to restore a normal life after the Russian attacks. I thank all those who help our warriors defend the cities and villages of Ukraine from Russian evil."
In the meantime, news arrives from Moscow of the arrest of Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov. The accusation would be that of corruption, but according to other sources Ivanov will have to answer for treason.
