Farewell to one of the tallest women in the world

One of the tallest women in the world has died. Maria Feliciana dos Santos, 2.25 meters tall, was 77 years old.

Since last Monday she had been hospitalized in a hospital in Aracaju, Brazil, where she was diagnosed with pneumonia and suffered heart complications.

She was born in Amparo do São Francisco, and toured several cities performing in circuses. In the 1960s she won the title of “Queen of Height” in a competition organized by the Hora da Buzina program.

Now the tallest living woman in the world is the Turkish Rumeysa Gelgi at 2.15 meters.
