Murder in the Lecco area, municipal councilor stabbed to death in the street

Murder this morning in Esino Lario , a mountain town in the province of Lecco.

A 53-year-old man was stabbed to death in the street . According to local press reports, the victim is a current municipal councilor, Pierluigi Beghetto .

The Carabinieri of the Lecco Company intervened in force on the spot, with investigations coordinated by the Lecco Prosecutor's Office. The air ambulance also landed from Sondrio through the 118 operations centre. The first investigations are underway to try to reconstruct the dynamics of what happened.

It seems that the crime occurred due to a neighborhood dispute .
