Alberto Dossena is at the heart of Cagliari's defense against Roma. At 8:45 PM, the defender, returning from Como, makes his second debut for the Rossoblu, almost a year after suffering a serious knee injury that kept him out since March 15th. Fabio Pisacane starts him from the start due to Yerry Mina's absence, as well as the departure of Sebastiano Luperto. After keeping the same lineup in three consecutive victories (Juventus, Fiorentina, and Verona), Pisacane is now forced to change his central defense . Dossena will be joined by Juan Rodríguez, who made his debut in the 1-0 first leg win on December 8th, while Zé Pedro and Adam Obert are on the wing.

Everything else is confirmed, starting, of course, with Elia Caprile in goal. Up front, Semih Kılıçsoy, fresh from his stunning overhead kick against Verona and a visit to Asseminello by Turkey coach Vincenzo Montella , will be supported by Marco Palestra (whom opposing coach Gian Piero Gasperini knows well, having given him his debut at Atalanta) and Sebastiano Esposito. In midfield, Gianluca Gaetano is the playmaker, with Michel Adopo and Luca Mazzitelli as midfielders.

Here are the official lineups for Roma-Cagliari : referee Matteo Marcenaro of the Genoa section will be refereeing . Live coverage of the match is available on unionesarda.it, with pre- and post-match coverage on Radiolina, featuring commentary by Lele Casini from the Olimpico.
