Andrea Belotti is increasingly close to returning to the field, possibly as early as this season and perhaps as early as April. After his injury on September 27th against Inter (torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee), the striker again completed part of a training session with his teammates this morning. He continues to make progress: he could be a potential replacement for Fabio Pisacane as Cagliari prepares for the season finale, where they will need to secure the points they need to stay up.

Today, two more forwards, Gennaro Borrelli and Leonardo Pavoletti, were given personalized training. The rest of the group, with the exception of the internationals ( Elia Caprile and Marco Palestra with Italy, Semih Kılıçsoy with Turkey U-21, Adam Obert with Slovakia, and Ibrahim Sulemana with Ghana ), completed the first part of today's session in the gym, dedicated to strength development. On the pitch, technical activation exercises and a multi-team tournament were performed, with high-intensity practice matches played in small spaces. The session concluded with a shooting session.

Also on the international scene, Kılıçsoy will be on the pitch wearing the number 10 jersey and captain's armband for Turkey in the Under-21 European Championship qualifier in Croatia at 5:30 PM. At 8:45 PM, in addition to Bosnia-Italy, Obert's Slovakia will play a friendly against Romania. Sulemana, meanwhile, missed yesterday's friendly against Germany 2-1, remaining on the bench, a result that cost coach Otto Addo his job just over two months before the World Cup .

Tomorrow, Cagliari will have an open-door training session : meet at 4 pm at the Crai Sport Center, with fans allowed to enter from Via Sa Ruina starting at 3 pm.
