The women's Tharros, a team that takes part in the national Serie C football championship, is strengthening. The red and white club has in fact made the purchase of Gianna Ferrara official.

Ferrara, a Swiss national with an Italian passport, born in 2002, arrives from FC Basel 1893, a team that plays in the top Swiss championship, the Women's Super League. Defender, he made his first team debut at the age of 16, playing 17 matches.

«After having passed the medical examinations - says the official note from Tharros - and having obtained the international transfer, Gianna will finally be able to take the field for the next championship match. His great desire to get involved and his physical qualities on the pitch will be fundamental to achieving safety as soon as possible."

The new player, who will wear the number 35 shirt like in Basel, will therefore be available to coach Luca Suella from the next round, Sunday, away, at 2.30 pm, against Pro Sesto.
