Three white coffins covered in flowers for the last farewell to Giusi Massetti, Martina and Francesco Gleboni. A full church in San Domenico Savio, with over a thousand participants at the funeral of the family exterminated by Roberto Gleboni in the Nuoro massacre last Wednesday. Among them was Gleboni's 14-year-old son, the only survivor of the massacre on Via Ichnusa , who was only grazed by the bullet.

In the centre the mother, on the sides the two sons with the coffin of the youngest – Francesco – with the flag of the Four Moors .

In the church of San Domenico Savio, many arrived well before 3:30 p.m., the time the ceremony began, for a moment of prayer . In the front rows are the classmates of Francesco, killed at the age of 10 by his father, while the faithful recite the rosary. In Nuoro today is a day of mourning.

Hundreds attended, many remained outside the church on the parvis . At the entrance there were many flowers, including those from little Francesco's class, in whose school a minute's silence was observed this morning .

" Heaven has its doors open for the innocent and for those who repent ": the parish priest Don Stefano Paba pronounced these words during the funeral homily. He presided over the mass concelebrated by dozens of priests, including the parish priests of the city. "For our brother Roberto, may God welcome him where there is no more anxiety, in peace and love", was said in the prayer of the faithful for the perpetrator of the massacre, whose funeral was celebrated yesterday in a strictly private form and in an undisclosed location .

This morning, at 11, the funeral of Paolo Sanna took place in the cathedral of Santa Maria della Neve , the Gleboni family's neighbor who was in turn killed by Roberto Gleboni just because he passed by them on the landing.
