The meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the City Hall, in a potentially decisive meeting for the fate of the stadium, which is slated to replace the Sant'Elia stadium, which has been abandoned since June 2017.

Fiori's presence is no coincidence: it clearly demonstrates the new shareholders' strong commitment to the new stadium project . This is also because, as Giulini himself stated last week at the end of the League Assembly , with the green light for construction of the stadium, their shares would rise to a majority. The American fund is currently slightly behind the shares held by the Fluorsid group .

No less significant is the presence of the Lega Calcio Serie A and its president Simonelli, on his second visit to Cagliari after last August for the first Gigi Riva Trophy.
