The cutting of the ten pines in viale Buoncammino, in Cagliari , carried out in September 2020 , costs a criminal decree condemning the four people who, in some way, had played a role in that initiative. These are municipal managers and entrepreneurs, to whom the investigating judge of Cagliari has imposed a fine of several thousand euros.
The prosecutor challenged them for carrying out interventions without the green light (which arrived later) and the alteration of the natural beauties bound. The story had sparked a hive of controversy and raised protests from environmentalists.
The suspects through their lawyers have appealed and now their position will be examined by the judge of the preliminary hearings.
