Cagliari has resumed training at the Crai Sport Center after three weeks away from Sardinia. After completing their training camp in Ponte di Legno and the subsequent stint between Austria and Germany, the Rossoblù returned to the island and—after two days of rest—met again this afternoon in Assemini. They also had a new addition: Michael Folorunsho, who arrived last week but did not join the group for Saturday afternoon's friendly against Hannover .

Folorunsho himself and Yerry Mina, who returned directly to Sardinia from Ponte di Legno, completed part of the session with the group. Sebastiano Luperto, who is managing his training load to recover from a calf strain, also completed the session. For this reason, the defender has not played in any friendly matches. Gianluca Gaetano and Leonardo Pavoletti continued their recovery program .

A double training session is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday the 30th. Luca Mazzitelli, who landed in Cagliari late this afternoon, will presumably also be there. He will be officially announced in the next few hours : he arrives on loan from Como with an option to buy. The season opener will take place on Saturday at 8:30 pm at Unipol Domus, with a friendly against Saint-Étienne, which will serve as the first Gigi Riva Trophy .
