Cagliari's official starting eleven for 2026-27 features a 4-3-2-1 formation, the one they'll be facing Arezzo, newly promoted to Serie B, in the round of 32 of the Coppa Italia. The Rossoblu will be playing in their season opener , with a few changes compared to the expected: Daniel Maldini will start on the bench, with Yael Trepy and Michel Adopo supporting Paul Mendy.

Winks and Romano will be the playmaker duo in midfield, with Jacopo Fazzini completing the lineup. In defense, still without Yerry Mina, Alessandro Deiola (the new captain) will partner Juan Rodríguez, while Zé Pedro and Adam Obert will be the two full-backs. Another new signing, Giuseppe Aurelio, is also available, while Kevin Carlos was not included in the squad. Sebastiano Esposito, of course, was not included in the squad. In Arezzo, which features many former Cagliari players, surprisingly, Alberto Cerri is not on the bench: former Budoni, Lanusei, San Teodoro, and Torres player Muhamed Varela is also on the bench .

These are the official lineups for Cagliari-Arezzo : kick-off is at 6.30 pm, refereeing Andrea Calzavara from the Varese section.
