The Sanremo Festival made her known to the general public and the single "Eco" anticipated the release of her first album in Italian " Joanita". Piazza Moretti in Sassari will welcome Joan Thiele on July 19, an eclectic singer-songwriter and producer arriving thanks to the Abbabula Festival.

“Eco” - written by Joan Thiele herself - is an invitation to face one's fears and overcome them , a piece that addresses themes such as the importance of defending one's ideas and the value of sharing.

In May 2023, Thiele won the David di Donatello for Best Original Song with the song “ Proiettili ”, taken from the film “Ti mangio il cuore”, presented at the 79th edition of the Venice Film Festival.

The event is the fourth gem of the festival program curated by Ragazze Terribili who have already announced Cristiano De Andrè (July 31) and Brunori SAS (August 3) - protagonists on the stage in Alghero - and Lucio Corsi (July 18 in Sassari).
