«I will tell the Superintendents to place as many constraints as possible to defend the environment and the landscape from the devastation and indiscriminate use of the territory by renewable operators. Because even when we stop the projects, the government decrees arrive that authorize them anyway ».

Vittorio Sgarbi returns to the office against the maxi-wind and photovoltaic plants at the center of numerous - and contested - projects in various regions of Italy, including Sardinia .

During a meeting at the Ministry of Culture, the undersecretary reiterated his intransigent position, already expressed in the past , also as mayor and as a parliamentarian: "Enough with the wind power that disfigures the landscape".

And again, with regard to photovoltaics: «It can be done, but only in industrial or urban areas that are already compromised. On everything else I propose to open a table and survey the territory so that we can clearly say where it can be done and where it will be prohibited. Certainly we won't need to use new territory that isn't already compromised», concluded the art critic.
