The communication from the Coast Guard and the Port Authority has arrived : from Monday to February 28, the Sub Service company of Mogoro will have to carry out underwater warfare clearance work in front of Terra Mala , in the Quartu area.
It is certainly not written in the documents authorizing the intervention, but it is certain that the action of the divers is preliminary to the start of the activity of the Tyrrhenian link , the large cable that will have to transport the energy produced in Sardinia to the mainland.
In the area it will not be possible to navigate, stop, anchor with any boat, whether for pleasure or professional use; carry out scuba diving; carry out fishing activities.
The block for such a long period has not gone unnoticed by activists who oppose the large cable : "The battle continues". A series of meetings are planned in the coming days to take stock of the situation, also in view of the upcoming deadlines regarding the wind assault on the Island.
