The Tyrrhenian Link is entering its crucial phase . So much so that the Port Authority has issued an order to close to navigation, fishing, and more, the stretch of coast in front of Terra Mala , on the Quartu coast, where the first pipeline to Sicily has been laid and preparations will soon be made for the second.

The area around the construction site and the body of water in front of Terra Mala are completely off-limits to allow for the completion of the connection work. The order specifically concerns the monitoring of the cable, which was completed last week.

In Terra Mala, residents are worried. And the committees' silence is partly attributable to a stalemate that extends to other issues as well. Besides feeling cornered, they now fear that their homes will rapidly lose value.
