Oristano, the diocesan Caritas with the boys: twenty scholarships awarded

The diocesan Caritas of Oristano at the forefront next to young people. Twenty scholarships were awarded today to students who graduated last year and are enrolled in their first year of university. The initiative was presented today by Archbishop Roberto Carboni and the director of Caritas Giovanna Lai who underlined the commitment of the association which does not limit itself to providing basic necessities but also thinks about the cultural growth of the youngest.

During the presentation of the project there were also the testimonies of two girls who in the past, thanks to the scholarship from Caritas, were able to attend university with excellent results. One of them is now perfecting her studies on immigration at the University of Palermo. Even the principal of the De Castro classical high school Pino Tilocca testified reiterating the value of this project; the councilor of the Municipality of Oristano Rossana Fozzi also intervened.
