Orani: hits a flock, gets out of the car and is killed by a pirate car

Tragedy just before midnight on the 131 dcn in the Orani area. A 62-year-old citizen originally from Senegal was hit and killed by a vehicle.

The man was found on the side of the road, outside his car which was heavily damaged at the front, by the firefighters who rushed to the scene together with 118, the carabinieri and the Polstrada. Nearby, on the road, seven dead sheep. A 118 ambulance was on site and was only able to confirm the man's death, as well as the Nuoro and Orosei Highway Police and a Carabinieri patrol from the Ottana station who carried out the appropriate checks.

From initial reconstructions, the 62-year-old presumably accidentally hit the animals , and once he got out of his car he was in turn hit by another vehicle which, however, was not found. The impact was fatal. The firefighters made the entire area safe.
