Omar Barranca , who died in Borore while riding on the eve of the feast of San Lussorio, may have been taken ill. The tragedy therefore did not appear to have been caused by an accident.

However, an autopsy will clarify the causes of a tragedy that has plunged the country into mourning and condolences. The medical examination of the 25-year-old's body, ordered by the Oristano Prosecutor's Office, which has opened an investigation , is scheduled for today at Lanusei Hospital.
