Hundreds of people attended the torchlight procession organized by the Municipality and Parish of Luras to remember Mauro Zuncheddu, the young man who died of an illness in Tempio hospital on Monday morning.
Many of Mauro's peers wanted to rally around the deceased boy's brother, Francesco, who was leading the torchlight procession.
The people of Lura silently walked through the streets of the town to express their sympathy to the Zuncheddu family. Mauro never missed Lauras matches, and his lifelong friends brought scarves to say goodbye.
Tomorrow morning, the autopsy will be assigned to forensic doctors Francesco Serra and Andrea Balata.
The Tempio Pausania Prosecutor's Office is investigating to determine the cause of the 23-year-old's death.
