Inflation and growth, work and productivity, public finances and payments. These and many other themes were at the center of the meeting "The pulse of the economy" , organized by Bankitalia which is currently being held in Cagliari , among the eight chosen stages, and which will end tomorrow.

Among the speeches (in addition to those of the rector Mola, the head of the Bankitalia headquarters in Cagliari Barra and the mayor Truzzu), that of Roberto Torrini , Head of the Economic Structure service of the Bank of Italy, who recalled all the activities carried out by the Bank in the field of economic research, which involve not only economic and statistical publications, but also analyzes in the service of monetary policy.

Riccardo De Lisa , professor of Economics of financial intermediaries at the University of Cagliari, spoke about finance and banks, recalling the crucial role of banks in the financial system and the real economy: banks are the fuel for businesses and for families for development.
