Change the method of counting the daily cases of Covid in Sardinia. As per the new ordinance of Governor Solinas ( READ ), the increase in new cases also takes into account those diagnosed with antigen tests.

In light of this, the new infections recorded on the island in the last 24 hours are 3536 (of which 2323 identified with antigen tests) on the basis of 4060 people tested.

A total of 20836 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

As for the situation in hospitals, there are 31 patients admitted to intensive care units (like yesterday).

On the other hand, 367 patients were admitted to the medical area (12 fewer than yesterday).

Still, there are 25364 cases of home isolation (2187 more than yesterday).

There are also 5 new deaths: a 71-year-old woman and an 81-year-old man, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; a 79-year-old man, residing in the province of Southern Sardinia, and 2 patients residing in the province of Nuoro.
