Not only the G7 Lavoro , scheduled from Wednesday to Friday of next week: Castello appears filled with prohibitions also for the Urban Trail, which was held yesterday. Not without protests from residents, who between yesterday and today found themselves with numerous fines among the parked cars.
In via Canelles, the route of the demonstration began at the corner of vico II Lamarmora: despite this, some cars were fined in the previous part of the street, to the discontent of those involved. The signs relating to yesterday's demonstration have already been removed in some places, but in the same areas there is already a notice for the G7 which - for reasons of public order - will prohibit parking in numerous streets from 6 pm on Tuesday to 4 pm on Friday.
The protest. "I will certainly contest the fine because, reading the ordinance reported on the sign, the stretch where the prohibitions were placed was not foreseen", says a resident who has lived in Castello for years. "In this neighborhood it is becoming impossible not only to find a parking space, but also to pass: the exit routes have been reduced, you can no longer pass through Piazza Palazzo to get to Piazza Indipendenza and this creates great inconvenience. It seems there is a determination to fine the residents, who suffer these demonstrations in a very short time with prohibitions that are updated in a few hours".
