The post will be given tomorrow for the autopsy on the body of Andrea Musiu , the twenty-year-old former Cagliari youth player who died last night from an illness during a football match in the field of Vecchio Borgo Sant'Elia. The examination will almost certainly be performed tomorrow afternoon by the coroner Roberto Demontis: it will be used to establish the exact causes of the death of the young promising Sardinian football player.

Growing up in the Cagliari youth academy, Musiu had played with Quartu 2000 and then moved on to Ferrini: the midfielder had become a strong point in the first team that contested the championship of Excellence. Then he had some health problems: a forced stop waiting for medical examinations to understand what the ailments he accused after important efforts were linked to.

The tragedy last night. Musiu was having a football match with some friends. He collapsed to the ground at the end of the first half, after about twenty minutes of play. Help was useless: the father of a boy who was playing with the 20-year-old immediately practiced heart massage and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Then the 118 rescuers also arrived but any attempt to save his life was unfortunately useless.

The police are also on site. The magistrate ordered the seizure of the body , which was taken to the Policlinico di Monserrato. Many testimonies of closeness to the boy's family and the pain of friends, companions and opponents of Musiu. "A wonderful boy. A great player. We are all still in shock", is the comment of the management of Ferrini Cagliari.
