It won't be a rush to get an online ticket for Marco Mengoni's New Year's concert at the Cagliari Fair. The meeting called this morning in the Prefecture (with the mayor, the Fair body, the local police) to decide on the number of spectators reiterated the limit at 20 thousand, which could become 29 thousand with the collateral events . The news concerns the access methods: anyone will be able to book the pass (strictly nominative and non-transferable).

Then the "selection" will be made at the gates, which will open at 6pm, six hours from the start of the show which will take place at 00.05: given the limited capacity, once that quota is reached the security service will say stop . In theory, therefore, everyone can book (each person should be able to book 4 nominative passes, but this is a technical detail that will be defined in the next few hours). A solution is being studied for those unable to enter: we are considering setting up a giant screen, also inside the Fair. «We will soon start bookings», says the mayor Paolo Truzzu at the end of the meeting. "Once you reach the maximum limit, you will no longer be able to enter." Although, he adds, "we are convinced that everyone can be satisfied" .

The safety and traffic plan will be the same as that developed for Vasco Rossi's big concert, June 2019, which involves the closure of viale Diaz, between Amsicora and piazza dei Centomila, and also of viale Ferrara, both starting from 4pm on December 31st.

No problem with the concomitance of the other parallel event which will also take place at the Fair: the entrances to the two shows will be separate (for Mengoni you will enter from Viale Diaz and Via Pessagno and each pass will have indicated the gate) and there will be no interference.
