There was no failure to provide assistance. Former Cagliari midfielder Andrea Capone died of natural causes, without anyone realizing he was ill .
A heart attack linked, in all likelihood, to an arrhythmia due to a cardiomyopathy that left him no chance . His lifeless body was found on the morning of September 29th in a suite of the Palazzo Tirso hotel, in Piazza Deffenu.
Having concluded the investigation by the Public Prosecutor's Office following the death, the public prosecutor Marco Cocco has now requested the archiving of the case opened with the hypothesis of failure to provide assistance to unknown persons.
