The Region appeals to the Council of State against the agrivoltaic park project in the municipality of Tuili, 24,500 photovoltaic panels overlooking the nuragic palace of Barumini. The decision was taken today by the Regional Council, after in recent months the TAR had rejected the Municipality's opposition against the presidency of the Council of Ministers, brought before the court together with the Ministry of the Environment.
The clash is over the positive environmental impact assessment of the project proposed by Ss Ele II Srl, for the construction of the agro-photovoltaic system called "Green and Blue Serra Tuili" with a power of 15,190 mW.
«The Municipality was without tools (but appealed, Ed.) and we as a Region decided to constitute ourselves», explained the president Alessandra Todde, «having a different weight to support the Municipalities before the Council of State, there must be collaboration between region and local authorities".
A collaboration that is also reiterated in view of the Anci assembly convened in these hours in Abbasanta and with a focus on energy and the direct request for involvement in decisions by mayors and administrators.
«The Municipalities have always been involved, I have always been concerned about involving them, without the communities the region has no consensus and no cohesion», Todde specified, «I remember that in the past what happened is that the Municipalities gave consent and took also compensation for the systems that were installed, except perhaps then protesting when the protest front widened. Today is a good opportunity to put priorities back in line", he concluded.
