The "Omnibus 2" law, i.e. the 210 million euro budget change approved by the Giunta Solinas and being examined by the regional council, takes its first steps in the commissions.

In the provision, however, there are not only measures to support and relaunch the economy intended for families and businesses in Sardinia and this could slow down the go-ahead .

In fact, the executive has included in the 21 articles of the text some rules concerning the functioning and the staff of the Region and the figure of the general secretary . Articles that the opposition branded as "intruders to be eliminated" , since, explains Massimo Zedda (Progressives), "those parties have no possibility of benefiting the Sardinians".

There is openness, however, for articles "which can bring relief to sectors in crisis and to citizens who are waiting for answers".

The deadline to approve the measure is November 30th.

Hence the appeal of the governor Christian Solinas and the councilor for programming Giuseppe Fasolino to speed up the work.

"We ask responsibility for all political forces and in particular the opposition to quickly approve a law that brings useful benefits to Sardinia and the Sardinians," said Fasolino, confident of finding the "right compromise" with the opposition.

However, the latter has asked that the governor present himself in the commission to clarify the reasons for the delay with which the law was presented.

«With the statements in which he accused the Regional Council of having burdened the process of the last omnibus 1 - says Pd councilor Cesare Moriconi - Solinas has in fact engaged in an institutional clash with the Assembly. So we asked the president of the Chamber, Michele

Pais , to clarify the prerogatives between the legislative assembly and the executive organ».

The next session of the third commission, which will have to start discussing the text on the merits, could be convened for next Tuesday.
