Semih Kılıçsoy's season has already ended, and his future remains up in the air. The striker will miss Milan-Cagliari, on Sunday at 8:45 PM , after requesting this afternoon to return to Turkey for family reasons. The club granted him permission, as the player is leaving and will not take part in the final training session or follow the Rossoblu to Milan.

Kılıçsoy's last training session was this morning, before speaking with the club and asking to return home. He finished with 22 appearances and four goals in Serie A, plus three Coppa Italia matches : the last one, however, dates back to the defeat in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo, and then six consecutive bench games. He hasn't been a starter since March 15th in Pisa, while his last goal dates back to January 31st against Verona (a splendid overhead kick).

Beşiktaş has always maintained its position on the buyout option: they have no intention of granting Cagliari any discounts on the €12 million agreed upon last August. This price, given a very difficult end to the season (Kılıçsoy's decline in performance is evident, also due to Ramadan a couple of months ago), is obviously on the decline, and it remains to be seen whether Cagliari will continue to pursue him .

On the pitch, Kılıçsoy's final training session was also his first with the team since Mattia Felici's serious knee injury in December . The winger is therefore a candidate to return to the Milan-Cagliari squad, at least, with the goal of finishing the season on the pitch and not in the infirmary. Felici himself, along with Paul Mendy and CEO Carlo Catte, attended the inauguration of the Cagliari Fan Club Bortigali: there was much enthusiasm for the Rossoblù and a large group of fans in attendance, including former players Emanuele Gattelli and Sandro Loi.

Luca Mazzitelli, who has been out since April 11th due to injury and trained with his teammates today, should also be available against Milan. Tomorrow, Cagliari will have their morning training session, followed by Fabio Pisacane's final pre-match press conference at 12:45 .
