He arrived at the barracks in Milan with his lawyer Andrea Sempio, 37, investigated for the murder of Chiara Poggi and awaited by the Carabinieri for the DNA test performed by the Scientific Investigations Section.
Sempio, together with his lawyer, Massimo Lovati, got out of a taxi in front of the entrance to the Carabinieri Command in via Vincenzo Monti where he was forcibly summoned by order of the judicial authority after last week he had refused to undergo the genetic test spontaneously .
"He is very ill," his lawyer had declared. But this morning he quickly followed the lawyer through the gates of the barracks, where he remained for about an hour, without making any statements in front of the many journalists who were waiting for him.
In the new investigation by the Pavia Prosecutor's Office, Sempio is being investigated for murder in complicity with unknown persons: the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Milan will reanalyze all the traces found to develop those left out in the investigation for which Alberto Stasi is serving 16 years in prison. Since the traces identified, especially at the crime scene, are numerous, it is assumed that more "unknown persons" will emerge. Among other things, the second profile of the DNA found years ago on Chiara Poggi's nails will be developed, which at the time had not been possible to profile.
As part of the investigation, some of those who, at the time of the crime, were part of the company of Marco Poggi and Andrea Sempio, who also knew the victim, have already been heard. All the people already heard in the past will also be called again.
